When does fog usually appear? Morning Noon Night?

I’m flying in a couple of days and today planes got canceled because of fog. And it’s supostu be real foggy on my travel day. When do you think the fog usually appears? I’m going in the early morning do you think I’ll be ok?

Fog’s caused by warm, moist air meeting cold air.

So if you have those conditions you will get fog or mist. Generally it’s worse near water or low lying areas in the morning – as that’s when the air is coldest. Sorry Go fly in the pm.
