Dark Night

The Harmful Invalid Factors Of Our Living House: Not 100% Natural Air, Inadequate Real Sun Light, And Imperfect Peaceful Darkness, Etc

Almost everybody likes large and beautifully decorated house, but not many people ask why. Even less people believe that to have such large and beautiful house is often more harmful than not.

Actually, it is very easy to answer this question and to know that it is indeed harmful to us, if we can spare some time to think it over by means of our very common sense. (Re #1-8)

Valid Factors Required

In the ancient time of 10,000 years ago, in daytime people lived in the forest to gather, hunt, and symbiotically socialize; and at night slept in cave to protect them from cold and beast attack. (Re #5)

Where, the environment met perfectly all the requirements of people’s instincts to run physiological and psychological functions work well then. It includes:

  1. 100% unpolluted clean fresh air day and night,
  2. 100% appropriate intensity of real sunlight in day time, and
  3. 100% peaceful dark night without manmade noise and artificial light.
  4. 100% the concentration of negative ions required by people for healthy living.

These are the major important factors of the environment for healthy living.  In one word, all conditions were exactly at their optimal points of people’s extraordinarily accurate physiological functions.

Obviously, these conditions are the endpoint of the updating of our pollution standards.

Harmful Invalid Factors

However, today most people unconsciously pursuit extravagant luxury housing which frequently accompanies many invalid factors (Re #2,3) which should be removed, including the followings:

  • Toxic Substances: Quite a number of beautiful artificial building materials release toxic substances more or less for ever although diminishing gradually. These substances never exist 10,000 years ago and thus people can not adapt to them without causing physiological problems.  For examples, the harmful chemical compounds of formaldehyde, lead compounds, organic solvents, and radio active gas, etc. (Re #5)
  • Insufficient Ventilation:  The air quality in a house is usually quite lower than that in the forest and in the open air 10,000 years ago due to lower ventilation. An air conditioner can drastically lower down the quality of air very much, particularly the negative ions concentration, which is of paramount importance to our health.
  • Inadequate Sunlight: In a house, the sunlight intensity is much weaker than that in the open air, where the intensity is our ancestors had in 10,000 years ago and our physiology instinctively requires now. Consequently, the vitamin D deficiency, disorder of melatonin secretion, and other physiological and psychological problems happen today.
  • Imperfect Peacefulness Darkness: Our physiology instinctively needs perfect peaceful darkness as that in 10,000 years ago to recover our energy and vigor at night. Naturally, the manmade light at night, which did not exist 10,000 years ago, will cause health problems for us, the extraordinarily sensitive animal in the world.
  • Too Large Space:  Our instincts require that our symbiotic members, including family and friends of different intimacy, live together closely so as to feel psychologically safe which is indispensable for our health. The larger the house, the more difficult to get together for close symbiosis and thus it may easily cause psychological problems, such as depression or else. (Re #3, 8)
  •  ...

Conclusion

There are many harmful invalid factors in our expensive house. It is not worthwhile pursuing it.
