is there a way to get rid of mold in a house without using extreme measures?
Depends on where the mold is. If it has gotten into your walls…then you will have to remove sheetrock and take extreme measures. If its just here and there on surfaces try getting a dehumidifier after you spray it out with a mild bleach mixture or tilex mold and mildew remover. Mold usually grows best when moisture resides. Keep your house dryer and it should keep mold down to a controllable level.
