Does anyone know if J.M. Barrie and Dave Barry are related?

J.M. Barrie wrote Peter Pan and Dave Barry writes the Peter and the Starcatchers series, along with Ridley Pearson. It seems like a big coincidence that they are both amazing writers, have the same last name, and write about Peter Pan. The only thing that sets me off is that their last names are spelled different, though it is possible that one changed their name, or made it a pen name…

JM Barrie had no children so if they were related it wouldn’t be very closely. Mr Barry does not mention such a relationship so I assume none exists
